Quebec welcomed 208 immigration applicants to apply for a lasting choice on March 30.

The Ministère de l’Immigration, de la Francisation et de l’Intégration (MIFI) welcomed these applicants under the Regular Skilled Worker Program (RSWP) who had recorded an Expression of Interest (EOI) in Quebec’s online enrollment entry, Arrima.

There were two classes of up-and-comers welcomed in the most recent round:

the individuals who had an approved bid for employment; and

the individuals who were in Quebec as an ambassador, consular official, United Nations delegate, or an agent of any intergovernmental association with tasks in the region, and their staff.

The new draw is the second of the year from Quebec. The previously happened in January where the territory gave 95 solicitations.

Quebec’s migration programs are overseen by the area dependent on determination rules and cycles that are particular from Canada’s movement programs. At last, it is dependent upon Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada to settle on an official choice on movement applications.

• Level of education
• Age
• Work experience
• Validated job offer
• Language skills (French and English);
• Ability to support oneself and family for the first three months
• Relationships with Canadian citizens or permanent residents in Quebec.

The successful candidates receive their Certificat de sélection du Québec (CSQ). These candidates can apply for permanent residence with the Canadian federal government.

In 2021, Quebec has planned to welcome more than 47,500 new immigrants. Whereas, Canada has planned to invite more than 400,000 immigrants under various categories.
