On March 8, 2021, Canada issued 671 invitations to Express Entry candidates. Those candidates were allowed to apply for Canadian Permanent Residence. The candidates having a minimum score of 739 were invited.
Why this score requirement is high?
Answer: It is due to the reason that every candidate in this draw seems to be provided with a provincial nomination from any Provincial Nominee Program (PNP). Due to the provincial nomination, additional scores have been added to the original CRS scores. Similar to prior Express Entry invitation rounds, the Tie-Breaking rule was implemented. In this phase, the time span included was for those candidates who had submitted their Express Entry profiles before 16, 2021 at 19:10:25 UTC.
Till now in 2021, a total of 38,657 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) have been issued. As compared to the previous year, these numbers are much greater. Due to the influence of Covid-19 in the previous year, the expected projections were not fulfilled, therefore, this year Canada will house as many immigrants.

The candidates with the highest scores in the draw are issued an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for Canadian permanent residence in an Express Entry invitation round.
