On January 28, 2021, Manitoba has invited 218 immigration candidates to apply for provincial nomination.

This draw was counted as the second draw of the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP). In this draw, the skilled workers, and international graduates were invited from the following streams:

• Skilled Workers in Manitoba
• International Education Stream
• Skilled Workers Overseas.

The numbers of Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs), along with the EOI scores have been listed:

• Skilled Workers in Manitoba:178 LAAs, a score of 518
• Skilled Workers Overseas:17 LAAs, a score of 681
• International Education Stream: 23 LAAs, no EOI score requirement

From the total 218 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs), 13 of them were for the Express Entry candidates.

The MPNP states that the applications of those candidates will be refused who do not have a valid Express Entry ID and verifiable work experience in the province.

The MPNP has only considered Skilled Worker Overseas candidates in the following draw if the candidates have been directly invited under a strategic recruitment initiative.

For those candidates who scored higher than the minimum ranking, their rejection causes can be due to:

• their outsider language test didn’t have a substantial test number
• their language test is not, at this point legitimate
• the applicant was welcomed under an essential enrollment activity; however, they didn’t send a substantial greeting number.

The MPNP said that applicants who are in one of these situations can refresh their EOI profile with the right data to be considered for the following draw.

The new-comers who are working in a selected occupation, have been welcomed in this draw. The MPNP says that they may reject applicants who are not working in a selected occupation, or who don’t give evidence of having finished all permitting steps to be utilized in Manitoba. The individuals who are in the present circumstance have the alternative to decrease their LAA.
